Beit Eides is a village distinguished by its beauty and tranquility. It is located within the municipality of Barqash, affiliated to the Koura Brigade , located in the Irbid governorate in northern Jordan . Its population is about 7000 people from the Miqdadi family, who belong to the companion Al- Miqdad bin Amr . In this town, the Miqdadi clan is divided into the following branches. : (Bani Ali, Al-Asabat (Banu Abu Asabah), Bani Yassin, Darawsheh, Al-Nawasrah, Al-Shawahna, Al-Asasfa and Al-Latifah) and its population of 7000.
The village overlooks the northern valleys, and it is adjacent to Kafr Awan and Kafarabil on the southern side and on the north, Kafr Rakib , and on the western side, the lands of the village are connected with the Jordan Valley, and on the eastern side are Barqash forest forests, and in Barqash now is a reserve for wild birds such as partridges, pheasants, shinar, zariqi, wild pigeons, etc. And hyenas and others, and wild boars are infested.
In the western region of the town, which the indigenous citizens call the (Arqoub) region, wild trees of all kinds are spread: oaks and moulins, as well as fruit trees such as almonds and olives, the beauty of the region reaches its peak in the spring season where a wonderful vegetation cover is formed from wild flowers such as red, white, black iris, bassbass and the Sabbath with their bright colors. A natural palette is formed that contains colors and landscapes, represented in its beauty, the splendor of his creation, the glory of which is spread in the hock many medicinal herbs such as thyme, sage and many others, which have been studied by local and foreign experts.
As for the historical point of view, Beit Eds has monuments dating back thousands of years, such as the ancient press near Sir, and the cave of the Lord Christ, in which, as stated in one of the books, that Christ hid in it for forty days, and the ancient church, which was said to be one of the oldest churches in the world, and it has a wonderful mosaic floor .
