Saham Al Kfarat is a residential area located in The Bani Kanana Brigade, Irbid governorate in Jordan. The area belongs to the Bani Kanana district, which has 28 areas. It has an estimated population of 9,617, according to the 2015census. [1] It is located in the far north of Jordan and its agricultural land overlooks the Yarmouk River and is characterized by the fertility of its territory and the cultivation of olive trees, where the oldest olive trees are planted and is considered the first area by the number of olive trees located throughout Jordan. The town's residents work in the armed forces, agriculture and public functions and are among the highest educated towns.

The town of Saham was one of the cities of Ghassana who lived in the Jordanian Golan area in northern Jordan before Islam and participated under the leadership of Jabala ibn al-Ayham in the battle of Yarmouk, where population activity continued throughout the Islamic era, with pieces of pottery dating back to Roman, Umayyad, Ayubid and Mamluk periods observed at the fort site and around its mosque, and the presence of the ancient Islamic cemetery in the center of the town, which ranges from 15.2 dunums, indicates that its population density is high and rises above sea level 400 meters
